I can’t let the day pass without wishing Sonny James a happy birthday. His music made my teen years much more enjoyable, and are the basis of many fond memories of places performed, and people performed for. I don’t think I ever had a girlfriend who escaped me introducing her to Sonny’s music, and it was his music that got me through both happy times and sad times. Please enjoy Sonny’s version of the Petula Clark hit “My Love” below, a song which Sonny took to the #1 position on the Country charts.
